According to the German media, before the cod spawning, the construction work was complicated by another factor. A 120 km pipeline is to be laid across Danish territorial waters southeast of Bornholm Island. There, after the Second World War, thousands of tons of munitions filled with poisonous gases were dumped. Therefore, a special permit was required for anchoring with anchors. The permit was obtained on 6 July.
